Hey everyone,so I have been doing a lot of research about the newest expansion pack The Sims 3 Pets.I found a good amount of stuff that I think you will like to hear,so here it goes.
Ok,so it was confirmed that there will be a new neighborhood included in the game,but sadly no name has been givin at this time.This town is set to be a “Ranch-style” town with all new Barn-type build & buy mode items,you kn ow cause of like all the horses.Also,you can go around town with your dog or cat to sniff out new collectibles and put them in terrariums.
There will be 4 new lots,or at least 4 that have been confirmed so far.That would include:
- Dog Park
- Cat Jungle
- Horse Ranch (Equestrian Center)
- Pet Shop (the pet shop has been confirmed not to be a rabbit hole) The Pet Shop will also include unique items for your pets only available in the Pet Shop!
Pets that are already confirmed to be included in the game are the following:
- Cats & Kittens
- Dogs & Puppies
- Horses & Foals
- Lizards
- Turtles
- Bird - Parrots, (more to come)
- Snakes
- Rodents
The Sims 3 Pets players will be able to create, customize and control over a hundred different kinds of cats and dogs like the Australian Shepherd and the Maine **** (I did not swear), and can breed and share them with friends providing endless possibilities to create new and exciting breeds.
- You can now customize pets in new ways such as layering fur colors.
- Horses will be able to mate & have foals.

- Cats and dogs can learn to hunt
- Dogs can learn to locate collectibles and fetch your Sims a date

CREATE A PET
- Create A Pet & Create A Sim are all in one mode, with different dressing room backgrounds.
- Sims 3 Pets offers full customization of pets. You can create the type of pet you own or the one you’ve always wanted.
- Customize the pet’s coat, shape, pattern, color, etc.
- You can change the ears, tail, snout, eyes, and much more. Pets allows you to go even further than customizing your pet’s look. You can also choose their behavior pattern and traits, similar to how you choose a sim’s traits. You are given the freedom to design the pet you want.
There are 3 stages to a Pet’s Life
- Infant/Baby/Youngster
- Adult
- Elder
- Pets will die of old age
BE THE PET
- For the first time ever, players will be able to play as their pets and see life through their eyes.
- Players take creativity by the reins and play out the stories they want to tell whether it’s the single guy in the dog park picking up women or the criminal overlord and her evil cat.
- Wield control of your Sim’s pet to chase, dig, tackle and more. Be the perfect companion or wreck havoc on your Sims.
- Players will be able to use Horses as a form of transportation
- Sims will be able to adopt Pets
- You can go around town with your dog or cat to sniff out new collectibles and put them in terrariums
- Sims will now have a new Trait called “Fur Allergy”
- Sims will have the “Animal Lover” trait.
- Sims can win competitions in the Equestrian Center while riding horses, and they will also receive special trophys.
Ok,so if you haven't noticed,there is like this "clue" in every EP.It's like,in Generations they have a gnome with a paw print on the back of it,therefore that was a clue for Pets.In some pictures for pets,it shows like in this new town that the trees are like different colors,almost like it's fall.So,could this be the clue for the next EP?Could it possibly lead to a Sims 3 Seasons?
